History of Panasonic-

With having its headquarters in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan, Panasonic has been giving us the world-class quality products from 1918. Formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., this name represented the iconic business group till 2008 and later it was denoted as Panasonic which now has become a renowned brand name.

In 1918, Konosuke Matsushita came up with an idea of working as a vendor of duplex lamp sockets which grabbed a lot of attention in the short span of time. Though, he started from a small platform but later with the time, he grew bigger due to his quality products.

Later during World War II, he started expanding the sales of his range of products to different factories of Japan & Asia. This even included a wide series of Panasonic cordless tools which really steal the attention of the public, at that time.

Once the war was over, his clear plan was to regroup the association and introduce it on a higher level. He named his group as Keiretsu and started supplying a series of post-war boom via radio and other communication mediums to Japan and other nearby countries. This proved to be a great success and he successfully grabbed the attention of the nation.

In the late 1950s to 1970s, this business group started manufacturing VHS, VCRs, radios, television which gave a successful start and recognition to the products. And the reason was high-quality products within the affordable range. Later with the pace of time, they even managed to introduce, rice cookers, food processors and much more.
